How exciting! Your kids will probably remember this for quite a while! I didn't get to see Lady Liberty until high school, but it was still one of the most exciting parts of NYC!
It was crazy how the ship leaned toward Liberty Island the whole way across the harbor and back.
(I personally like the view of the Verrazano Narrows on the other side or Governor's Island even better but not as cool, of course.)
