Thanks to Ganz, Kat received the blue puppy - whose name is **wait for it** Blue Puppy! This plush guy hasn't left her side since it arrived a few weeks ago. He was there for the holiday excitement, traveled to the mountains, and goes to bed with her every night. I love how soft he is and he is quite a bit bigger than the original Webkinz so he's become the companion cuddly in our house.
At $24.95 it might be a little more expensive than your average cuddly plush animal but the website membership more than makes up the difference.

Don't you just love the creativity children use when naming their stuffies?! Princess has Pink Dog, Black Poodle and White Tan. When she was younger they were even more interesting...Ear (a zebra), Foor (a teddy bear), Neck (a giraffe), etc. LOL!

OH Webkinz...I've been wanting to check that out! Looks like fun!
I originally bought 2 webkinz. One for my grandson and one for me. It was a birthday present for him that I thought we could enjoy together. He never really got into it, but I ended up with a couple of the things. I had gotten out of the habit of playing with them every day, and was going to let my subscription lapse, but my husband surprised me with a reindeer webkinz for Christmas... just 10 days before my subscription would have been up. I was surprised that he had payed enough attention to know that. LOL!
If anyone has a younger child they want to introduce to the computer, I think these are excellent, just be careful or you'll spend more time playing with them than the child! ;)
