Music has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up studying violin and played and taught professionally before my kiddos came along. I love all kinds of music, it is part of who I am. I've become a BLIP.fm addict and spent the day listening to all kinds of different music. I thought it would be appropriate to choose music quotes today....

I had no idea you were/are a violinist...my hubby's best friend studied the violin and plays beautifully - I get to appreciate it every Sunday when he comes over to work on new songs for their album...such a treat! :)

You're so right. I'll be in a total bitchy mood, having a bad day then some random song will come on - "Cheeseburger in Paradise," "Bohemian Rhapsody" or "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and I become this happy, dancing fool. I love it! Recently I discovered that I haven't taken the time to listen to music as much as I like. I'm working on adding back in my treadmill routines with my Ipod of favorite tunes. There's almost nothing better - well, except for that piece of chocolate I eat after running, LOL! :-) I like your blog. I'm glad I stumbled upon you. ~Mandy
One more thing, I often use a free internet music site, www.pandora.com - it's wonderful! Just type in an artist or song you feel like listening to and it creates a playlist for you. It really is pandora's great little box!

Beautiful quotes! Music used to be a huge part of my life (trained in piano for 8 years in Canada's Royal Conservatory for Music) and I definitely need to get back to that place.
