SMOKIN' Fast Shipping at Startpoken.com ~ Review and Giveaway

Every once in awhile a product, a service, or a company comes along and surprises you. Last week I saw @Totally_Toni of A Daily Dose of Toni tweet something out about Startpoken.com and then I remembered that I was going to need a Poken for Blogher. So I hopped onto the site and instantly saw exactly what I wanted. I clicked, paid and forgot about it until... the day after the next day, a little package came for me. It was this...

Smokin' fast service! And now I'll be able to take it with me when I head to Boulder on Saturday for the local Blogher meet-up. I am going to get to meet a few of my favorite bloggy friends from Colorado in person!

I had such a great experience with Startpoken.com that I decided to share it with you all. First, if you do not know what a Poken is you will soon, especially if you are going to be networking at Blogher! A Poken is essentially an electronic business card, or as the founder of Poken calls it, a social business card, and a stinkin' adorable one at that. These little mini chips pass information from one Poken to the other when touched so that you can get a persons contact info and then just upload it when you get home. No need for a business card people, this is totally green! Except for all the plastic stuff... but hey, save a tree, kill the ozone. (PLEASE, it's a joke, I love the ozone layer, I'm even installing solar and participating in the city's voluntary composting program...)

And get this, you know the loud talking offensive guy/gal with coffee breath that you meet while networking, and desperately want to never see again? Problem solved! Poken has a built in system for handling these types of situations, while still maintaining your desire to be tactful and, as always, classy. Just double click this little button and the offending person will not get your information at all. Pretty sweet, huh?

These are the ones that my kids (and husband) have picked out. I'm not sure why my kids need a poken, but it is a totally awesome form of bribery right now. I think I'll get some good mileage out this.
