I'm NOT letting it mellow and yes, I realize the print on my shirt is mirrored. I didn't even realize it until Mr. Blonde pointed it out. My next project is figuring out all the video editing tricks. In the meantime, if anyone has a quick tip on how to flip the image let me know!!!

17 Responses to "Casual Friday ~ Not So Mellow Yellow"Bath? A bath? Oh, that's right, your kids are older. I haven't taken a bath for months. All I have time to do is a quick 2 minute shower while my son is clamoring to get into it. I keep him at bay by opening up the curtain and letting him see me. Who cares if I'm naked...he's three.
We are trying to be more earth-friendly, too. But, we still fill up our big ol' jacuzzi size tub. I guess that's just part of what we get to do when we're mommies and we need that big ol' luxurious bath to relax in. Oh, and three year olds are afraid of the shower!
I hear ya about the toilet. I can't seem to flush it enough in this house with my 4 kids! I don't care if there was a drought!
Woo hoo, I think thats awesome! I've never heard about a community compost thats cool!!
Great job! As the manager of our Recycling Dept. in our area, I am so pleased to hear you recycle!
We don't have curbside comosting (yet), but we give classes on backyard composting to our residents. My daughter and her family are big composters. (Don't tell anyone that I don't.)
You look great on video. I'm soooooo envious!
:) Loved your Casual Friday, Hopefully I can chime in next week. I have a guest blogger this week.
We're so behind on the go green and be Earth friendly around here... we have little to no recycling centers. It's crazeeness. But, we are doing small things like conserving electricity-- no more individual water bottles, everyone has their personal refillable one....and we don't use those plastic sacks anymore. :) Enjoyed your vlog!
Great video~
My family and I do our best. One of the sad things about living in Idaho is we as a general rule are years behind everything else the world is doing. For example, they don't make it easy to recycle except for a few items you can leave by the trash. We don't really have recycling centers.
I enjoyed this and good luck with your compost!

bookie sent me over.. I cheated. My pictures started out life as a video but I cut them out and put them up as pictures...! Oh well!
Next week maybe??
OMG, you are so cute!
My family's not always great about flushing after themselves, but I'm a stickler. Unless it's in the middle of the night. Then, you couldn't pay me to flush the toilet for fear of waking up a kid!!!
LOL!! No mellow yellow!! Great vlog!
As far as the flipping your vlog...what editing system are you using?
Just wanted to stop by and say thnak you for your kind words that you left at HCCM :)
and I hope you are having a blessed day!
How fun! I'll totally participate sometime. Do you do this every Friday??
Hi there, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! San Diego is a great city, BUT I'm pretty sure all or most of those freebies I listed are available in other cities as well. So you should probably be able to partake in the fun next week too :)
I used to take a bath once a week without fail...until the Princess Nagger came along - now I'm lucky if I get a relaxing bubble bath once a month...all the other times it's a Speedy Gonzales shower...(grin!) So I guess that means I'm conserving water... :) We do recycle (in fact, Princess Nagger has gotten on hubby's case about mixing the recyclables that I painstakingly separate with the 'regular' garbage instead of putting it in the recycle bin...love how she's 'policing' him whilst in Kindergarten! *grin!*)
Loved your vlog - it's always a pleasure to see your cuteness on video on Casual Fridays! :)
Fun site. I grew up in CA and remember the whole "yellow let it mellow" campaign. I agree with you about just flushing the toilet. There are other ways to save water.
Also, I love Target as well!! It's just the best.
We here in Texas go through droughts on a regular basis. Not even in the depths of the worst of it did we fail to flush the john.
My boys so rarely actually hit the potty anyway that I consider it a treat to hear that flushing sound.
