My eldest child turn's 9 years old today. Crazy. 9. I don't feel like it is possible that I could have a child that is 9. He is my bud, my love bug. I love that he is so intense when he is interested in something. My little geek in training, such a thinker. I love that he feels everything and holds his friendships dear. I love that he is so nurturing with his sister and so tough with his brother. I love that he tries so hard even when things get tough. I love that he is almost as tall as me. Those eyes, oh those eyes and the eyelashes that I covet while watching him sleep. I love the mole at the nape of his neck and the way his hair sits just so. I love that he still kisses me good night and hugs and kisses me when I drop him at school, he turns to wave and smile at me every time... that I love.
Sadly ... all of my earliest pictures are hard copies and it didn't occur to me to scan them in. But how amazing to see my very first baby, the one who taught me the true meaning of love, go from this....

Oh my yes time flies. He's so beautiful and looks like his mom. I call my son bear, and love that he still asks to have a snug a bug with me and he's ten. It seems the older they get the more loving. It's wonderful!

My oldest child turned 9 in February... I'm the same way; wondering how in the WORLD I can have a child that old?? haha It's cool though :) She's a great kid. And I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that eventually all of my kids are going to grow up. *tear*
My youngest will turn one tomorrow. I'm having a harder time with that than I did my oldest turning 9 lol I just posted a blog about it actually hehe
My oldest turned 8 last month and I felt the same way. I look at him and wonder how he could have ever been five pounds!! Then I wonder how am I going to deal with him becoming a teenager and then an adult!
